The entrance hallway leads past the downstairs bathroom which is very convenient for those days returning back from the beach. The bright and airy kitchen has a range of wall and floor mounted units and has a fitted dishwasher and washing machine included in the sale. Flowing through past the kitchen is the dining room which is linked via a wide open doorway. This dual aspect room is awash with natural light from the double width sliding doors, window looking the rear garden and two velux windows. There is a spacious downstairs double bedroom to the rear of the property which suits those with mobility issues not having to worry about stairs while completing the ground floor accommodation is the generous sitting room which shows off some of this cottages character with slate flooring, shallow beams and the stone surround fireplace with wood burning stove.
Rising to the first floor the guest bedroom is located at the front of the property and although set up as a twin room this sizable room would fit a king size bed which would not be out of place here with ample space remaining for chests of draws or other storage units to go with the already in place fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom however is of particular note which is accessed through its dressing room with this suite having French doors and Juliet balcony viewing onto the rear garden and also the benefit of a cloakroom off the dressing room. There is ample space to create a luxury en-suite in the dressing room without impacting the practicalities of the room.
Externally the property has driveway parking for approx. 4 cars, while beside the house is a surfboard storage shed and outside shower. There is sufficient space to the side of the property for a garage to be built (subject to permissions). The rear of the property has a south-facing garden which is on two levels with stone steps linking them. The higher level has outside rattan circular seating and a fabulous setting with lush tropical planting and lighting. There is an outside dining area with picnic table and chairs which take advantage of the top level as it is a real sun-trap. Further occasional accommodation is available in the insulated chalet/cabin in the rear garden or equally this well presented room would be perfect space for a work from home office.
