This area of outstanding natural beauty, known as the Roseland Peninsula, is renowned for the beauty of its coastline and the excellent day sailing waters, which are available on the Percuil River and Carrick Roads. The large village of St Mawes approximately five miles distant, offers a variety of shops, restaurants, banks, hotels together with a regular passenger ferry service to the port of Falmouth. The cathedral city of Truro is approximately fifteen miles distant by road or less by the King Harry Car Ferry. There is also an inter city rail link to London Paddington, approximately four and a half hours away.
