    Located in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village of Zennor is about five miles west of St. Ives on the wild and rugged north coast. The West Penwith moors provide an attractive backdrop. Zennor is a pretty village with the Tinners Arms pub and St. Senara's Church, which is famous for the oak pew connected to the legend of the Mermaid of Zennor. The nearby coast has secluded coves and dramatic cliffs looking out over the Atlantic. There are many popular walks including to Zennor Head, which offers views to Trevose Head to the east and, to the west, Pendeen Watch and even the Scilly Isles on a clear day. Following the Coastal Path for 2 miles, you come to the culinary famous Gurnard's Head pub.
